Dave is the president of Dale Carnegie Training® of Maine, a training and consulting organization serving the people and business community in Maine. For nearly a century, Dale Carnegie Training® has focused on helping people to sharpen their skills and improve their performance. Today, Dale Carnegie Training® has over 7 million graduates in thousands of companies around the world. Graduates work in every industry and nearly every country. Dave is a certified trainer of all of the Dale Carnegie Courses® as well as being an internationally certified Master Trainer for the Dale Carnegie Sales Advantage for Dale Carnegie & Associates, Inc. Dale Carnegie Training® of Maine provides time-spaced training programs, one-day seminars and customized programs for unique training needs within a company. Dave is a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy with a degree in engineering and lives in Kennebunk with his wife, Charlene and their daughter, Lili.

Shirlie Broomfield
Trainer and Customer Care Manager
Shirlie is a certified trainer for the Dale Carnegie Course in Effective Communications and Human Relations, Strictly Business the Dale Carnegie Immersion Seminar, and our youth training program, Generation.Next. She is also the Customer Care Manager for both internal and external communications. She assists individuals and companies with identifying their goals and training needs and finding solutions to those needs. Her responsibilities include sales management and coordination, marketing, customer service, communications and training. Of all the quotes made famous over the years by Mr. Carnegie, the two that most guide her are these: "If you consistently mix enthusiasm with achievement you can accomplish anything." "Life is truly a boomerang. What you give, you get back." She lives in Kennebunk with her husband, John and dog, Ivy. Her favorite pastime is traveling to visit her 3 sons.

Bobby Piveronas
Training Consultant
Barbara "Bobby" Piveronas is a training consultant with Dale Carnegie Training of Maine. Bobby assists members of the business community in learning ways to enhance their skills and explore solutions to personal and business needs. Dale Carnegie Training helps people to release untapped potential and achieve results in communicating powerfully, excelling as leaders and team players, managing with proficiency and improving sales performance. Prior to joining the team at Dale Carnegie Training, Bobby was an Employment Specialist for the Veterans' Program at the Training Resource Center. She has volunteered with the Greater Portland Chamber of Commerce for many years and received the 'Volunteer of the Year' award in 2005.

Joyce Auger
Office Manager
Joyce Auger is the Office Manager for Dale Carnegie Training of Maine and enjoys the varied activities this position carries with it. She assists the Training Consultants and Trainers with numerous record keeping details, marketing, and the general flow of the daily routine of the office. After her first career as a business teacher, Joyce was fortunate to have been a "stay-at-home mom" for her two now-grown children. She says rejoining the work force has been an inspiring, exciting, and rewarding experience. Joyce lives in Gorham, and loves spending her free time at the beautiful Maine coast.

John Brubaker
Training Consultant
John Brubaker brings more than fifteen years of experience in Leadership Development, Coaching and Human Resource Management in educational and corporate settings to his work as a performance consultant for Dale Carnegie. John Brubaker's professional background is rich and varied. Prior to joining Dale Carnegie, he spent over decade as a college head coach and professor. Most recently Brubaker spent four years in sports broadcasting with ESPN Radio and Fox Sports. Brubaker guided the St. Andrew's College lacrosse program from 2001-2004 leading them to unparalleled success producing an NCAA Final Four appearance and Top 10 national rankings each year. A three time coach of the year, Brubaker has coached nine All-Americans and had seven of his players drafted to play professionally. He has been a featured speaker at the US Lacrosse National Convention and has also performed televised instructional pieces for Coaches Effectiveness as well as Player-Coach Communication. As a performance consultant, John works with organizations throughout the state of Maine to helping them develop their competitive edge...their people. A 1992 graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a bachelor's degree in psychology he also earned a master's degree in personnel psychology from FDU in 1993. Brubaker has completed his doctoral level coursework in Sport Psychology at Temple University. John's passions include: coaching and deaf education. Active in the community, John is the vice-president of the National Cued Speech Association and serves on the board of the Cued Speech Association of Maine. He is also a member of the Kiwanis and the Positive Coaching Alliance. John and his wife Bethany have two children and live in the Lewiston-Auburn area.

William Vickerson
Trainer, Project Manager
Bill has been a certified Dale Carnegie Trainer since 1979. He brings his expertise into the classroom facilitating: The Dale Carnegie Course, Leadership Training for Managers, Customer Relations and Employee Development, World Class Customer Service, High Performance Teams, Professional Development Series, High Impact Presentations, and Seminars. He has worked with companies in the manufacturing, bio-technology, health care, insurance, retail, government and defense industry, as well as government agencies and non-profit organizations. Bill has been a practicing attorney for over 30 years. A graduate of Fairfield University and Loyola University School of Law, his career has involved primarily litigation in State and Federal Courts representing individuals and small businesses. Bill has served actively on the Boards of Directors of the United Way of Greater Portland and the American Red Cross on Southern Maine. Bill is now President of 211Maine. For all of his public service Maine's Governor recognized Bill as a Volunteer of the Year in 2008. Bill lives in Scarborough with his wife, Linda.

Ken Krebs
Training Consultant
As a training consultant, Ken is responsible for assisting individuals and companies in identifying areas where improvement can be made and exploring solutions to personal and business needs. Prior to working for Dale Carnegie Training of Maine, Ken was a Division Head in the Radiological Controls Department at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. In this job, he was responsible for the daily radiological control operations throughout the Shipyard including work onboard submarines. He retired in May 2002 and has been enjoying his family and perfecting his golf game ever since. Ken is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Course and the Dale Carnegie Leadership Training for Managers. Ken is also a certified Graduate Assistant Coach in the Dale Carnegie Course and has been assisting classes since 1991. Ken is uniquely qualified to provide consulting assistance to people interested in improving their skills through Dale Carnegie Training. He lives in South Berwick with his wife, Marie and has 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
